| 1963 James Albrecht retired from McCormick & Co. last year and now consults for the State of Maryland and several food companies. He also teaches international marketing at Loyola College and the University of Baltimore, and he was a visiting professor at the University of Illinois in October. Earlier this year I took a fantastic trip around the world with several friends, and I am planning a new adventure to start the new millennium, he says. Bob Eads writes: We had great trips to Australia, New Zealand, and Greece this year. 1964 Frank Di Giacoma reports that he is now independent and keeping busy with tennis, golf, and physical training, among other activities. He and his wife, Lee, live in Delray Beach, Florida. He retired from Visa International. 1967 Corky Steiner is vice president of Latin America Hasbro Toys. He married Ellen Kuby in 1987. He has two sons, Joey, 9, and Ricky, 10; a daughter, Meredith Levin, 17; and two stepsons, Will, 28, and Aaron, 27. Steiner lives in Cincinnati. Tim White was appointed editor and publisher of the San Francisco Examiner. The Examiner was William Randolph Hearsts first newspaper and established the subsequent Hearst communications empire. White and his wife, Sally, live in San Francisco. 1968 Burin Kantabutra was elected an independent director of the Thai Bond Dealing Center and a member of the executive committee of Chulalongkorn Universitys College of Population Studies in Thailand. 1969 Kenneth B. Hoganson Jr., A.B. 67, M.B.A. 69, president of the Hoganson Venture Group, reports that industry consolidation provides new opportunities and challenges to his private investment banking practice. My wife, Shelly, and I had a great time at my 30th reunion party last summer, he writes. Hope to see more of the class of 69 at the 35th! |
