Corporate Friends Crucial to Campaign
Chicago GSB has strong, long-standing connections to many distinguished corporations worldwide; these firms consult the research of the school's faculty members, participate in its business conferences and programs, and annually recruit hundreds of GSB alumni. As such, these companies find that supporting the GSB and its students, faculty, and programs is in their best interest.

Each year, 75 firms contribute to the quality and success of the GSB by participating in the Associates Program, the school's corporate annual fund. In the midst of our $175 million campaign, these and other gifts from our corporate partners become even more critical to the GSB's future.

Already companies are responding. We have received support for student scholarships from Siebel Systems, as well as contributions toward the new integrated campus from such organizations as the Fidelity Foundation.

Additionally, many GSB alumni have helped establish campaigns within their own firms. These initiatives provide key financial support that supplements individual corporate or alumni gifts.

Chicago GSB Fund Leadership
We would like to recognize and thank Council on the Graduate School of Business member Timothy A. Schlindwein, '72, who is generously donating his time and talent to serve as the chair of the Chicago GSB Fund's Laureate Society. Schlindwein succeeds Kenneth Kaufman, '76, who stepped down from the Chicago GSB Fund steering committee in October 2000.

We also would like to recognize Gary J. Feracota, XP-64 ('95), who recently joined the steering committee for the Chicago GSB Fund. He joins committee chair Robert B. Nagel, '63, as well as Joseph E. Ernsteen, '70; Ralph W. Gidwitz, XP-34 ('74); Judith A. Griffin, '71; Amy M. Hamilton, '98; Robert K. Parsons, '67; Timothy A. Schlindwein, '72; Joseph Benedict Starshak, '75; and Immanuel Thangaraj, '93.
