California Social Mixers
The Young Alumni Club hosts monthly mixers at Gotham Hall, 1431 Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, on the first Wednesday of every month. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., is open to all Chicago GSB alumni in the area. Graduates of other business schools also are invited.

Denver Hosts Discussion Series
The Denver chapter hosted a forum titled "Investing in Your Community," which featured a keynote address by Peter H. Coors, chairman of the Coors Brewing Company. The group hosted the event in conjunction with the Denver Business Series, a consortium of top-tier business school alumni that have pooled their members and resources to attract big names and sponsors to networking events. The chapter also hosted two discussions about the current state of the Internet economy: "The Future of Internet Content," with Denver Telecom Professionals, and "The Internet Bubble - One Year Later.² With more than 250 members, the GSB chapter in Colorado continues to grow. According to chapter president Susan Eslick, '98, the growth of Denver's economy has allowed alumni to pursue opportunities in such industries as technology, telecommunications, and financial services.

Events Wrap-Up from Atlanta
The current board of the Atlanta chapter consists of Amy Kistulinec, '90; Tripp O'Connor, '96; Stephanie Adams, '92; Dick James, '70; John Shepard, '87; Dean Morris, '87; and Dan Cavellier, XP-51 ('83). Barcelona Hosts Multi-School Networking Event
On March 1, the Barcelona chapter welcomed diners to a Global Workplace - sponsored event in the heart of Madrid. Called the Second Spanish Joint Business Schools' Networking Event, the evening offered alumni from several top-ranked business schools the chance to form contacts with one another. According to chapter president Peter Simons, IXP-3 ('98), the GSB made a strong showing. Other guests included alumni from INSEAD, Wharton, Carnegie Mellon, Kellogg, LBS, UCLA, Stanford, IMD, Tuck, and Bucconi. Attendees were given the opportunity to propose topics for future events; one suggestion was a golf tournament between the various schools.
