CHARLES F. AXELSON of Pasadena, California, writes: “I am now a healthy 80 years old. I retired in 1982 as chief financial officer of Larry’s Foods in Los Angeles and went into a second career as professor/lecturer of accounting.” He spent three years at the University of Southern California and ten years at Cal Poly State University-Pomona. He now keeps busy as a board member and treasurer of Goodwill Industries of Southern California and vice chairman of Crippled Children’s Society of Southern California. He reports that he “remarried in 1995 and has since taken some wonderful trips, including visits to the Panama Canal, South Africa, Rome, Yalta, and Athens.” He has three adult children living in Minneapolis, Manhattan, and Sunnyvale, California.
