A New Brand Challenge
Jennifer K. Daniels, ’92 Concero––the new name of the e-services firm that Jennifer K. Daniels, ’92, joined in 1999––comes from the Latin word for “connect, join, or bring together. ” While Concero specializes in connecting businesses with new technologies, Daniels brings together all aspects of the firm’s innovative marketing initiatives. Just last year, she orchestrated Concero’s extensive plan for a fresh corporate identity.

Gateway to Customer Satisfaction
Jeffrey Weitzen, ’80
Jeffrey Weitzen’s job is to look ahead, creating and implementing a new vision for one of the nation’s most successful personal computer direct sellers. In January 2000, he was promoted from chief operating officer to CEO at San Diego-based Gateway. Competing with such companies as Dell and Compaq, Weitzen has set an ambitious goal of $30 billion in global revenue by 2004.
