1994

ANATH SRINIVAS BHOGARAJU and his wife, Purnima, recently moved back to Chicago after three years in New York. “We look forward to renewing our friendship with GSB classmates,” he writes. Bhogaraju is now working with First Boston’s Health Care Corporate Finance Group.

TEVEN BLUMENFIELD and his wife, Cheryll, moved to New Jersey, where their daughter, Cella Houston Blumenfield, was born on April 28. Cella weighed eight pounds, nine ounces and was 20 inches in length.

BERNARD J. FORD was promoted to partner at Ernst & Young L.L.P. in Chicago. He is a dispute resolution and litigation services partner, focused on health care fraud and abuse investigations conducted on behalf of providers and insurers under investigation. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Kate, and their children, Brendan, Patrick, and Maura.

DANIEL M. KAUFMAN married Julie Ehrensberger on June 7. The couple is currently building a home in Lake in the Hills, Illinois.

PATRICK P. LAW recently joined the international treasury division of Chase Manhattan Bank’s Hong Kong Branch as vice president, where he helps manage the Asian currencies investment portfolio.

W. J. DAFYDD SILCOCK reports that he has joined Ernst & Young Consulting in Dallas as a manager in the People AdvantEdge practice, serving the financial services clients. He is enjoying the climate and welcomes old and new GSB chums to contact him at (214) 665-9265 (work) or (972) 267-7423 (home).

CHRISTOPHER SZTAM writes that he recently attended the wedding of DENNIS BIANUCCI. Plenty of GSBers were in attendance, including STEVE and JULIE (ESTES) PLANK, BEAU and SUZANNE (FOWLER) DAMON, STEVE and SUSAN (POARCH) SMITH, and GREG and SARAH GUENTHER.

MARK LEWIS USHER was promoted to senior manager in the logistics strategy practice of Andersen Consulting’s Los Angeles office in September. He and his wife, Alison, had their second child, Natalie Mae, on June 24.

1995

ELIZABETH HARE ABATTISTA was promoted to associate partner at Andersen Consulting. She is based in Northbrook, Illinois, at Andersen Consulting Technology Park.

MARK FRANK writes that he is now vice president in the department of EVA education at Stern Stewart & Co. in New York City. He wields his new, custom-made pool cue (not so well) at Amsterdam Billiards Club.

ELISABETH GINDERSKE and CHRISTOPHER DONOHOE, ’93, were married in Bond Chapel in October. Ginderske is an associate investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. Donohoe is a vice president of the financial institutions group at J.P. Morgan & Co. The couple now lives in New York.

TAKANORI "TIM" HIBI announces the birth of his third child. Matthew, born on August 4, joins sister, Lina, and brother, Eugene. This former LEAD facilitator now keeps busy on weekends babysitting. Weekdays, Hibi still works for NOF Corporation. All GSBers are invited to visit him in his new house if they are in the area of Tsukuba, 30 miles north of Tokyo. ANDREA KAY HORMAN recently became vice president of marketing for Shaker Investments in Cleveland, Ohio. Horman is also enjoying being a trustee of the Cleveland Opera and the Cleveland School of the Arts as well as being “a new Tribe fan.”

JOHN W. MILLER recently published Windy City Kitchens, a collection of recipes from Chicago’s favorite restaurants. It is now on sale at Marshall Fields, Williams-Sonoma, and Chicago-area bookstores and boutiques.

PUNEET PANDIT is now with Ernst & Young in Chicago as a manager in the management consulting group. He is stationed in Bombay, India, to help launch a consulting practice in India. He writes: “My specific roles range from helping to launch strategic advisory services in India to serving as a resource coordinator for Indian operation. If need be, I may be staffed on an assignment for an Indian client.”

VIKRAM SAWHNEY was promoted to manager at the New York office of A.T. Kearney in June. He joined the firm’s financial institutions group in 1995 as an associate. In October he married Sonali Dhall. KEVIN P. SMITH married Shelitta Scott Smith, A.M. ’95 (SSA), on April 15. Smith is working as an advanced product analyst for Ford Motor Company in Detroit.

BENOIT TAS writes: “I am an active member of the University of Chicago Alumni in Belgium, and I really feel Chicago is my second home ever since starting my M.B.A. in the fall of 1993. Since graduation, I’ve been back five times already. I guess there are some good things about the traveling schedule of a consultant.” Tas joined the European consumer goods practice of Arthur D. Little in May 1995 and is living in Brussels. “I was promoted to manager after one year, and I’ve worked on some 15 projects since, mainly related to marketing and sales, innovation and strategy and organization,” he writes.

ANGELIQUE TOBER reports that John (Jaddy) DePoy and Marian Singer were married on August 15 at Viansa Winery in Sonoma County, California. “Several GSB alumni were in attendance,” she writes, “but despite the significant GSB representation, business discussions were kept to a minimum. The focus on this day was on the DePoy-Singer merger!”

1996

FABRIZO CORRADINI became the proud father of a little boy, Nicola, in February Corradini and his family are living happily in Milan, Italy, where every waking, non-working moment is absorbed by Nicola.

JOHN GARDNER joined Nokia, Inc. as an investment analyst and new business development manager. He is responsible for financial analysis and portfolio company management for Nokia’s strategic and venture capital investments in North and South America. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Chicago.

DAVID GOULD writes: “After y’all left Hyde Park, I finished up my master’s degree in Latin American studies and began to work in arctic Minneapolis, trading fixed income for Cargil.” Gould reports that in late spring, he “flew to New York and proposed to my honey, Ruthie Stebbins. She’ll soon be ditching the Big Apple for the Mini-Apple.”

GUNNAR JOHNSON was promoted to manager from senior consultant at Deloitte & Touche L.L.P. in Minneapolis.

HO NGUYEN writes: “I moved from Brandywine Asset Management in Thornton, Pennsylvania to the Fuji Bank in New York City in early June. My friend Kazuo Nishimura helped me land this job–he sits right next to me!”

ELLEN ROSTAND writes that she is now an account executive for Fleishman-Hillard Communications in St. Louis.

STEVE TAE and his wife, HYO-SHIN, announce the birth of their son, Christian Jin-wong Tae, on August 17. The newborn weighed in at seven pounds, six ounces, and both mother and child are doing fine. The family lives in Evanston, Illinois.

MICHAEL TRZUPEK and his wife, Karmen, relocated in June from Chicago to Beaverton, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. He is working in a finance position at Intel, and his wife is at Oregon Health Sciences University, where she is doing genetic research.

DWIGHT A. WILLIAMS and KATHY R. WILKERSON, ’97, were married on May 31 in Chicago with several GSB alums in attendance. The couple honeymooned in Ixtapa, Mexico. Cathy is vice president and research analyst for First Chicago Venture Capital, and Dwight is a senior consultant in the financial services/insurance consulting practice at KPMG Peat Marwick L.L.P. in Chicago. They currently live in the South Loop.

1997

ARIF AHMED writes that he joined DAVE RICKARD and ANDY REICHGUT on a West Coast golf trip last summer, traveling from San Francisco to Vancouver and hitting many different golf courses along the way. Scores ranged from the high 70’s (Andy) to the 100’s (Arif). Arif also reports two summer weddings: ADAM SPEILMAN married MAUREEN SWEENEY on July 11 in Bond Chapel on the university campus, and Dave Rickard married Faith Bugel on August 9 in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

JASON BATTAGLIA fulfilled his lifelong dream of taking Italian lessons in Italy by spending a month in Florence. Jason put away the books after lunch and took a job in the San Lorenzo leather goods markets, hawking suede, oily calfskin, and other leather jackets to fashion hungry tourists. “I almost didn't come back,” Jason says, “and I can’t listen to Italian music (“That's Amore” or “Volare” by Dean Martin) any more because I get too sentimental.” Jason also spent two weeks wandering around Turkey, reporting that “Cappodoccia, with its fairy chimneys, was one of the most fascinating sites I’ve ever seen.” He’s enjoying work as a manager of marketing research at Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical division, Ortho-McNeil. Life in Hoboken, New Jersey (“home of Frank Sinatra”) is treating him well, especially that homemade mozzarella at Vito’s Deli.

ANITA BATHIJA reports that she thoroughly enjoyed her 10 weeks of travel through India and southeast Asia with JOHN BUCHBINDER and ANDREW DINSMORE. Highlights included the Taj Majal, hiking through the hill tribes in northern Thailand, running into GSB students at every street corner in Hong Kong, and staying with RICHARD COGHLAN and his wife in the Philippines. For the latter half of her trip, Bathija ventured down under with LORI SLACK and ANTHONY WOOLFE. This adventure included scuba diving with sharks and eels, mountain climbing, and rappelling hundreds of feet underground in caves in New Zealand. After their exhausting adventures, they rested in Fiji and Hawaii before returning to the United States. Bathija is now settled in New York where she is working for the Boston Consulting Group.

OLIVIA BAUMAN writes that she is finishing a four-month assignment in Tokyo. She was consulting for Credit Suisse First Boston on a back office software implementation for their listed derivatives operation. Baumann is president of Baumann and Associates, a firm she began to “pay the bills as I was going through school.” She is now planning to return to the United States and work in consulting in Chicago or New York.

DAVID MICHAEL CARTERbumped into classmate Cynthia Farnsworth at a wedding on Chebeague Island, Maine. David and his wife, Laura, live nearby in Yarmouth. He is an associate with the shareholder activist Lens Fund in Portland, Maine. He reports that he frequently is in touch with classmates Rich Scheurman and John Zang and was puzzled to see Peter Sullivan pictured alongside such upstanding characters as John Joliet and Deputy Dean Robin Hogarth in the last issue of GSB Chicago.

After two years in Chicago, AMY CHIANG is happy to be back in New York, though Booz-Allen seems to think she should be in San Francisco instead. Although she is living with ANDY SONG, the two have rarely seen each other since she ventured to the other coast.

CALVIN CHUNG and his wife, Cecilia, had their second child, Lauren Kayla Chung, on September 27. Chung is enjoying life as an equity analyst in St. Petersburg, Florida, and in particular enjoys having two children, a dog, and a rising stock market.

After graduation, RICHARD COGHLAN was finally able to join his wife, Sang-me, in the Philippines, where he now works for the Asian Finance Investment Co. The couple are already settled into their new Manila home, where they entertain often. Their weekends are dominated by golf, and they sometimes play two rounds a day. Coghlan reports: “This is clearly the life! If it weren’t for the pollution and traffic, I would be ecstatic. As it is, I’m pretty damn happy.”

CINDY M. CREMER and her husband, Andy, announce the birth of Hannah Catherine, born July 27. Cremer is presently working in health care customer business development for Proctor & Gamble in Chicago.

ANDREW DINSMORE traveled the world and spread the gospel of open markets, spending a glorious but very hot time with fellow GSBers John Buchbinder and Anita Bathija. He swam with the sharks in Indonesia and Australia and drove through the spectacular scenery of New Zealand. However, after three months of “retirement training,” it was back to reality at A.T. Kearney in New York City.

CHET DOMINICK is now working in Chicago, but recently found time to visit New York and get acquainted with the old gang. The only one missing from the bunch was LARRY TAYLOR, who is working for Exxon in Dallas.

ARMAN FALSAFI writes that he is manager of systems integration for MCI Systemhouse in Chicago.

CYNTHIA FARNSWORTH biked through Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland with HYO JUNG LEE. “Yes, I biked down the Matterhorn, over the Seine, and through the Pyrenees,” she reports. True, I was on a Harley, but what a bike.”

KATHY FELTON writes that she had a wonderful summer spending time with her brothers in Egypt. Other exciting news: her sister recently got married back in the United States and her husband just became an official “Dr.” She is settled in San Francisco with Deloitte & Touche Consulting and has been assigned a two-month project in Salt Lake City.

GIULIO FENU is now senior inventory management consultant at Caterpillar Logistics Services. He and his wife and their four children will be moving back to Europe where Fenu says he hopes to be active in the GSB alumni club in Belgium. Formerly he was a systems analyst with Eli Lilly.

MIKE FERTMAN, back in the states after his summer adventures in South America, writes that the class of ’97 has established “a small beachhead in Cleveland.” He and Mustafa Chagall, Ann Goebel, and Patrick Hallinan are all working for Booz, Allen & Hamilton in Cleveland; Cecilia Rettig is with McKinsey and Mike Weiner is there working for Nestle. TIM FREY and SHOBA SATYENDRA recently announced their engagement. The couple is living in Cambridge.

SOO HONG writes that she spent the summer traveling through Denmark, Norway, and Sweden with MARK TROMBLEY as well as through Spain and Portugal on her own. “I ate smoked moose, went parasailing, saw street performers who juggled in their underwear, missed my connecting train from Porto to Madrid–which led to my binge of consuming tons of sangria, vino verde and port wine”. She has started at Booz Allen along with Amy Chiang, Mike Doherty, Emily Lo, and Pat Hallinan.

MARCIA HUNT reports that she is now working on Minute Rice at Kraft and “learning more information about rice than I ever thought possible.” She writes: “One of the many great things about Minute is that even I can’t ruin it!” Hunt now lives in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood and recently saw the Stones with Jay Linney. In her free time, she is enjoying recreational reading.

DIANE IVANOVICH reports that after a marathon series of good-byes to her fellow graduates at Chicago bars, she was off to Washington, D.C. Her hopes of meeting her idol, Alan Greenspan, were dashed. Then she returned to her familial homeland, Croatia, and spent part of her summer island hopping. (Croatia has more than 1,000 islands). The next hop took her to Kenya and Tanzania for a safari with Anne Goebel. “The trip was adventuresome. We were charged by an elephant, I almost got bit by a lion, and Anne almost got thrown out of a curio shop for too much bargaining,” she writes. All too soon, Citibank shipped her off to London to begin training. Summer was over, but the excitement wasn’t; like an enterprising journalist, she was the first to report Princess Diana’s accident to family and friends. Ivanovich was staying two blocks from the Kensington Palace and reports that she placed flowers at the Palace gate. She also saw the casket when it was driven by. “Too close and too eerie,” she writes.

TOM KECK and his wife, Nettie, spent the summer in a home they rented in Italy, where they played host to numerous GSB guests. Keck is now living in New Jersey and working for McKinsey & Co.

Molly and JEFF KELLER began their summer by getting married in Crystal Lake, Michigan. The happy twosome then gallivanted around the globe enjoying a 10-week honeymoon that includes stops in Cape Town, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. “Our journey has been spectacular,” Keller reports.

STEVE KLIMKOWSKI has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president at ABN AMRO Chicago Corporation. In this position, he is in charge of fixed income for ABN AMRO Chicago Corporate Asset Management, where he serves as chairman of the Fixed Income Committee. He lives in Hinsdale, Illinois, with his wife and their three children.

ROBBIE LAMBRIX reports the Thursday Night Drinking Club lives on. In October, many ’97 grads flew in from around the country to celebrate Marcia Hunt’s birthday. On the same weekend, Matt Sanderson ran the Chicago Marathon in three hours and five minutes to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

CINDY LESTER reported that she and JAY RUDMAN are happily living together in Chicago after a busy summer in Alaska, Israel, Jordan, and on the U.S. “wedding circuit.” Their highlights included white water rafting and seeing elk and whales in Alaska; visiting the site of “Indiana Jones and the Lost Crusade” in Petra, Jordan; and attending the weddings of Russ Riben and Andrew White. They are getting married next Labor Day weekend.

MARINO LINARDON writes that he and Jennifer spent their summer vacation in northern Italy. “We had a wonderful time visiting family and touring. The highlight of the trip was the beautiful coastal city of Trieste.” In early August, Lindaron began working at Smith Barney as an associate in the financial institutions group. He says that the acquisition of Salomon Brothers has added a lot of excitement around the office.

ALISTAR LING reports that his summer highlight was a safari in Africa. Several weeks and hundreds of photos later, he claims the trip was unlike anything he has ever experienced. Ling is now working in equity derivatives for Morgan Stanley in New York, but he plans to move to Hong Kong in December.

VICTORIA MAILIN ecstatically reports that she recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. She traveled four days up the 20,000+ foot mountain, where the temperatures reached as low as 20 degrees below zero. She claims her seven-week trip to Africa was an “unbelievable, storybook” experience. Not to be outdone by some of her classmates in terms of total travel time this summer, Victoria also traveled throughout Europe for more than a month. She hit her favorite spot, the Greek Islands, as well as Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Germany. Back to “reality” as of late October, she has started working at Andersen Consulting in Chicago.

BRIAN MARCUS and JONATHON ZANG spent their summers traveling to Israel and the Sinai Desert.

ERIC MARK had an enjoyable but short vacation in Portugal and Switzerland. With coconspirators ANDY SONG and LARRY TAYLOR, Eric had fun in Belgium for a few days before his companions went biking in France and Switzerland. After a short training stint in New York, Mark is settled in London with Morgan Stanley, where he is challenged to the point that he barely has time to look for, or even think about, an apartment.

LAURA MCKUIN reports that she and Jason “Jake” Puryear spent time this summer in Gilwice, Poland, building houses for Habitat for Humanity. She traveled around Budapest with Christy Alkidas, Carrie Goles, Matt Sanderson, and Jay Linney. Also this summer, she and Betty Lin took a 350-mile bicycle trip in Southern Utah. McKuin is now living with Cathy Carroll in Dallas and working for Bain. Recently she attended a “mini GSB reunion” in Dallas, a gathering hosted by Stacey True.

RAY MERK, after marrying in Brazil early this year, is happy to report that his wife, Adriana, is now in the United States. “We waited for five months while the American Embassy in Brazil processed her papers and finally gave her a visa to come here,” Merk reports. “She arrived in late June and we soon took off on a tour of America. We drove cross-country from Washington, D.C. to Las Vegas and back, stopping off at a few different places along the way. We hit Nashville (yee-haw), Memphis (home of “the king”), New Orleans (Nawlins), Dallas (didn’t see JR), Grand Canyon (yodelay-hee-hoo), and finally Las Vegas (the town Nicholas Cage can’t get out of). It was great! I won 5,000 nickels in the slots in Las Vegas (sounds better than $250).” Merk recently joined Mobil in Washington, D.C., and is working hard to get a grip on this huge industry.

DAVE MILLER spent the summer traveling through Australia with Jon Zapp and Linda Bott and New Zealand with Joe and Michelle Antonio. Scuba diving with Zapp on the Great Barrier Reef was the highlight, he writes. Miller has since moved to Baltimore and works at First Annapolis Consulting.

BRUCE NORLAND reports that he had a busy summer traveling around the globe. He and Mirium will be moving to Skopje, Macedonia, where he will be running a venture capital fund that will make investments in Macedonia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and other areas.

In November, MAKI OGIWARA was married in London to her longtime fiance, who patiently waited while she completed her two years in Chicago.

TAKASHI OYAGI writes that he married Sharlene last December. He is now working at the Credit and Market Management Department of the Bank of Japan. In between projects, Takashi has found time to tour Japan, where he is learning the tofu diet of the Buddhist priests.

ARPAN PATEL reports that he spent the summer with Gina Cocking, cycling through southwest France and then continuing on to Italy and Austria, running into various GSB people along the way. Things are getting busy at work for him these days, but there are lots of friends from school to help him maintain his sanity.

MARY E. PODBORNY married Daniel Lovell on September 27. The couple spent their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, before returning to their home in Chicago. Podbourny is information technology auditor for Amoco Corporation.

JOE POPOLO announced that he and his wife, Chris, had a baby girl, Katherine, on September 29.

After his West Coast golf trip with DAVE RICKARD and ARIF AHMED, ANDY REICHGUT and his wife, Laura, went to Europe. The couple is now living in New Jersey (near Exit 155) and Reichgut has started work at Reckitt & Colman.

GEORGE S. RIG VI, writes: “My wife, Karen, and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Kerstin Lorelei Rieg, born July 5 and weighing five pounds and eleven ounces. Kerstin is the granddaughter of George S. Rieg Jr., ’49.”

MARK RUDAJEV and his wife, Laura, spent the fall in New York where Mark was in training with Morgan Stanley. In November, the couple moved to London.

SCOTT RUDY spent the summer relaxing on the beach in Hawaii before heading to the Big Apple, where he will be training for several months. Rudy’s final destination is Zurich, Switzerland, where he will be working for Union Bank of Switzerland.

FRANSICO SALONIA RUZO sacrificed his summer to begin working immediately after graduation. While many of his classmates were traveling around the world, Francisco began his work at J.P. Morgan . He says he is settled in at work and at home, and his social life has never been better!

GISELE SCHEINKMAN is working for Credit Agricole-Indosuez in her homeland, Brazil. Though she is living in San Paulo, Gisele can be found on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro each weekend. Scheinkman says guests are welcome, preferably on the weekend.

ANDY SCMELTZ'S summer highlight was his marriage to Dayna Bandman in Bedford, New York, on July 13. Fellow GSBers Rich Hansen and Sophia Sakhleh were on hand to celebrate the memorable occasion. A romantic honeymoon to secluded areas of the Pacific Northwest and Canadian Rockies followed. Schmeltz now lives in Wilmette, Illinois, and is working at Abbott Laboratories.

JEFF SELTZER spent his summer becoming a master chef at Cordon Bleu in France. He later traveled to Asia with his sister and was held up for several days in customs when he tried to reenter the United States.

PHILLIP SEXAUER married Katherine Rafa on October 10. Sexauer is manager for real estate and financial analysis at FMC Corporation in Chicago.

BRIAN STORY reports that after graduation, he and Amy moved to a new two-bedroom apartment in Lincoln Park and have been making up for lost time by hosting dinner parties and taking weekend trips to Michigan. After two months of training at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit and the regional office in Naperville, Storey started his first round of a marketing rotation with General Motors. The round is in sales, and Storey has already begun acting as a district sales manager for Central Illinois for Pontiac-GM. GM issued Storey a brand new Pontiac Firebird which he is happily driving around the heartland.

ELLEN KOONMEN SUBRAMANIAM and RAM SUBRAMANIAM report that they spent July in the Bay Area. While visiting with friends from college, they almost got their ear drums blown off at a heavy metal concert in a bar while standing in front of the speakers. After their California adventures, the Subramaniams moved to New York, where they checked out the tourist spots before settling in and starting work. It’s a good thing they enjoyed their vacation, because on his first day of work, Ram was on a flight to Germany for a three-day whirlwind trip. What a way to get back to the working world!

MIEN-LIN JUSTINA TAN married PATRICK TAN in Singapore on August 2. ALLISTAR LING and YUKO MITSUZUKA attended the wedding.

COLLEEN WARDLE recently became engaged to Kirk Ferguson, her steady in New York. The couple is living in a huge apartment in Soho and having a wonderful time.

DEBROAH WEINSWIG writes that she is working at Morgan Stanley in equity research. “Do you remember all of the stuff that we learned in school about DCF’s? I’ve actually published an article on what a great tool they are and how the investment community uses multiple-based analysis when performing valuations.”

CATHY R. WILKERSON and DWIGHT A. WILLIAMS, ’96, were married on May 31 in Chicago with several GSB alums in attendance. The couple honeymooned in Ixtapa, Mexico. MICHAEL WEINER moved to Cleveland to work for Nestle as the marketing assistant for Contadina refrigerated pasta and sauces. He and MIKE FERTMAN have been hanging out in Coventry Village, the Bucktown of Cleveland, and in the Flats, which is like “the cheesy part of Lincoln Avenue.” He’s learning to appreciate the Indians and the Cavaliers, whose tickets can actually be bought by the public at face value. He’s been to the Jake and the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame, and has rollerbladed in a few of the city’s many parks. When not in Cleveland, Weiner has seen lots of GSB friends in both Chicago and New York, and he was finally on the other side of GSB recruiting recently. He looks forward to seeing everyone in their new homes as he makes field visits to supermarkets around the nation.

LOUISA WOODenjoyed the summer traveling through Europe, where DAVE LYNCH led the group deep into Spanish culture with his Spanish skills. It seems that many other new graduates had the same plans, because Wood ran into Sean McLauglin and Jill Pick practicing their Spanish in Barcelona, Emily Lo supporting the economy of the Italian fashion designers in Italy, Rich Hansen roaming the Florentine streets, and Jason Kofman eating his way through Sienna. Marcia Hunt joined the fun for a weeks of wine and champagne tasting in the Burgundy region of France. Wood is now in San Francisco with fellow grads Marianne Llewellyn, Robbie Lambrix, Eric Westmore, Dave Scott, Aneysha Pearce, and Tim Brennan. “It’s too bad that corporate life does not lend itself to the Thursday Night Drinking Club, considering all the new watering holes to explore in the city,” she writes.

ANTHONY WOOLF reports that he managed to do a little traveling this summer with fellow GSBers before beginning his job at ZS Associates in Chicago. He cut a swath through Vietnam, then proceeded through the opium dens of northern Thailand, then saw ’roos and vineyards (as well as KATE MACINTOSH) in Sydney before heading to New Zealand, Fiji, and Hawaii.

MARCUS YODER reports that he had a wild saunter through Europe with ZHEYNA MEYLIKHOVA, Mimi Baker, and Mimi's boyfriend, Jim. Highlights included sunsets at Paradise Beach in Mykonos and Fira on the island of Santorini, seeing old friends in Koblenz, Germany, and, of course, Prague. He capped off his summer by jumping out of airplane 13,000 feet above the ground, an experience he highly recommends. Yoder is with Price Waterhouse Consulting in Chicago.

ALEX ZYNGIER spent the summer on a global tour which included Lebanon, southeast Asia, and his native Brazil with his girlfriend, Stacia. Zyngier has now settled in Chicago where he is working for McKinsey & Co.
