| 1990 JEFF AMELL married Mary S. Martin (Harvard M.B.A. 88) on July 19 in West Hartford, Connecticut. Several GSB classmates were in attendance, including GEORGE ELDRIGDE, RICHARD MORRISSEY, and MIKE and CAROL WINFREY. Amell is currently marketing director with UDV division of Diageo for the U.K. His wife is director of business development with the carrier division of United Technologies Corp. The couple lives in Kensington, London. LAURA SUE DANNUNZIO relocated to Detroit from Atlanta in February to join A. T. Kearneys automotive practice. She has been with the consulting firm since graduating from the GSB. SEONGSU KIM received the Academy of Managements Best Paper Award for Predicting Actual Acceptances of Early Retirement Incentives at Three Points in Time. WILLIAM P. WHITELY was named associate partner at Andersen Consulting. He works in Andersens healthcare industry group, where he advises to managed care companies in developing corporate strategy. BARBARA ANNE WILLIAMS writes that she has been president and chief executive officer of Image Content Technology, L.L.C., since December 1996. Image Content Technology is commercializing a patented, image enhancement technology. She lives in Middletown, Connecticut. 1991 RONALD L. BLOOMFIELD was named associate partner at Andersen Consulting. Previously he served as a manager in the firms utilities industry practice. He lives in Barrington, Illinois, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two daughters. NICK DEMOPOULOS writes that he recently married a wonderful Brazilian woman he met in Tokyo, where they now live. I trade Japanese stock and we roam the earth. STEPHANIE KNELL KLEIN and PETER KLEIN had a beautiful baby girl on October 9. Mikaela Aura Klein was six pounds, nine ounces, and 18 1/2 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing great. THOMAS S. ROONEY joined Gilbane, a national construction firm, as regional manager of business development for the midwest. Gilbanes midwest regional office is located in Chicago. MATTHEW SIEGEL was appointed assistant treasurer of North America for Joseph Seagram & Sons, Inc., a subsidiary of The Seagram Company Ltd. Siegel is based in New York. 1992 DAVID BACKER writes that recently he accepted the position of director of sales and marketing at Molecular Medicine, L.L.C., a joint venture between the University of California at San Diego and Backers previous employer, Boehringer Mannheim Corporation. JENNIFER K. DANIELS was named director of marketing for the Enterprise Resource Solutions business unit of Cambridge Techology Partners. Previously she was marketing manager for Cambridge Management Consulting. STEPHEN DUFOUR was named manager of Fidelity Balanced mutual fund. DuFour previously managed Fidelity Convertible Securities. DAVID FONG accepted a position with U.S. West Communications as director of local network operations for Colorado and Wyoming. He and his family moved to Denver [from where] in March. LINDA HARVEY was so eager to report major news to her classmates promptly that she called GSB Chicago in February to see if her first child would arrive before the class notes deadline. Baby Anna Eve arrived March 1, right on deadline for this issue. Linda, on leave from her GSB job as associate director of LEAD, and her husband, MARK, 93, are delighted with the new arrival. The proud parents were looking forward to seeing classmates at the reunion in May. PATRICK MAY and his wife, MARY BETH, 93, became proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, Margaret Mary ("Maggie"), on November 21. It was appropriate that Maggie was born at a University of Chicago Hospital (Weiss Memorial) as her parents met at the GSB. DEBBIE and P. J. MOSES are enjoying parenthoodwith the birth of their daughter Alexa Mae, on June 16 in Greenwich, Connecticut. Alexa was born at five pounds, seven ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. After taking the summer off for maternity leave, Debbie has returned to work as an account supervisor at Alcone Marketing Group, a promotional marketing company. P. J. is a principle at Loewenbaum and Company, an investment bank in New York City. MIKE WANG was promoted to the new role of general manager for Allied Signals Burbank, California, operation. His new office number is (818) 556-5306, and he encourages alumni to stay in touch. He and his family will soon move to sunny southern California. TODD S. WILSON was named associate partner at Andersen Consulting. Wilson, who works in the financial services industry group, has been with Andersen since 1987. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and daughter. 1993 ALICIA BASSUK and BRIAN AMES are enjoying their company, which is helping large consulting firms prepare knowledge management strategies. They were married January , 1997 in the Rocky Mountains, and they have a daughter, Soci. It develops Internet software and corporate web sites. Ive also recently married Linda Bielfeldt. Greene lives in Chicago. MARK HARVEY (see LINDA HARVEY, 1992.) RICHARD A. HERBST was named associate partner at Andersen Consulting. Herbst, who joined Andersen in 1996 as senior manager, works in the communications industry practice. He lives in Geneva, Illinois, with his wife, Sarah, and their two children. STEVEN JOHNSON is the senior regional director of investments for American Express Financial Advisors based in Minneapolis. ELIZABETH LASZLO writes: I am very happy to report that I have joined the San Francisco business accounting group of Leigh Fisher Associates and have relocated to San Mateo, California. No more brutal Chicago winters! FRANK R. MACK has been designated a Certified Fraud Examiner. This designation, sponsored by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, is designed to recognize professionals who meet a stringent set of criteria. Mack is vice president of Turnaround & Crisis Management, Inc., Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. MARY BETH MAY (see PATRICK MAY, 92.) NOEL and KENDRA (LEINDECKER) MIRASOL sent in the cutest birth announcment weve seen recently. Hand-stenciled with a colorful fish, it read, Jay and Kendra fell for each other hook, line, and sinker. Now they proudly announce a new fish in the sea: Nicholas Martin Mirasol. He tipped the scales at six and three-quarters pounds and measured 19 inches, snout to tailflipper. The doctor said he was a keeper. The new family lives in Chicago, and we hope all is going swimmingly for them. CRAIG SCHULTZ recently accepted a position as manager of planning and analysis for the Eastern Group, an energy company based in Alexandria, Virginia. Schultz is also serving as president of the alumni club for the 600 GSB alums in the Washington D.C. area.
