Weber spoke at an IGM Myron Scholes Global Markets Forum in May. His presentation focused on how EU leaders are taking the right steps but still need to commit to a tighter set of rules. Weber was the president of the Deutsche Bundesbank and served as a member of the governing council of the European Central Bank between 2004 and 2011 before joining the Booth faculty earlier this year.
