What's Next for Financial Crises? Lessons Learned from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, and the ECB
Randall S. Kroszner, Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics
Join Randall S. Kroszner, former governor of the Federal Reserve and Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics at Chicago Booth, for a discussion on how the big three central banks respond to crises. Professor Kroszner will provide an inside view on the response of the Federal Reserve, comparing and contrasting with the actions of the Bank of England and the European Central Bank during this and other financial crises. He will follow with a brief economic outlook for Europe and the United States for the coming year, and give his views on what the future holds for central banking.
