Daily Campus Visit Program

We encourage all prospective students to experience Chicago Booth in person at Harper Center. The Daily Campus Visit Program is held every Monday through Friday except for certain exclusion dates.

Depending on the time of the year, the activities of campus visit program vary. When class is in session, visitors will be able to take part in the full schedule. During breaks and exam weeks, we offer an abbreviated schedule. Registrants are not required to participate in all campus visit activities. Please note that campus visits have no bearing on an applicant’s admissions decision.

Campus Visit Schedules and Activities

Full Schedule

Winter full campus visits will be available from January 10 to March 9, 2012.

Note: There is only one afternoon class available to visitors on Monday afternoon during the winter quarter.

*Due to limited availability of seats, we ask that all prospective students select to attend either a morning or afternoon class. The end times on the schedule reflect the typical class break; early departures are not permitted. Morning class visitors should leave at the break in order to attend the information session.

Abbreviated Schedule

Abbreviated fall campus visits will be available from December 5, 2011, to January 9, 2012.

10:30 a.m. - Noon*: Information session & Building tour

*Depending on the day of the visit and the number of visitors, the abbreviated campus visit may end between 11:30 a.m. and noon. Also, class visit and lunch are not offered on the abbreviated schedule.

Schedule a Visit

After you have registered for a campus visit, you will receive an email confirmation with an interest form attached that will allow you to preselect your preferred activities. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate every visitor's preference, completing the interest form before you arrive on campus will help us better prepare for your visit.

  • Winter Quarter Full Schedule: January 10 - March 9 (see exclusion dates below) - Register now >

Exclusion Dates* (subject to change without notice)

The Daily Campus Visit Program will not be in session on the following 2012 dates due to holidays and campus programming (e.g. Chicago Booth Live):

  • February 10 (Admit Weekend)
  • March 2 (Booth Live)

Lunch with Affinity Student Groups

Select affinity student groups will be hosting monthly informal lunches for prospective students. These lunches will last from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. As they are intended to complement the campus visit schedule, registrants will have the opportunity to participate in the other campus visit activities: information session, building tour, and class visit. Lunch will be provided. Note: Registration is strongly recommended.

Description of Activities

Class Visits

Prospective students are welcome to visit a class and experience our faculty firsthand. Due to the popularity of class visits and limited availability of seats, we cannot ensure that all visitors will be able to sit in on the class of their first choice. However, we will do our best to place registered prospective students in one of their preferred classes. We encourage all prospective students to view the list of classes prior to their visit.

Visitors will be escorted to the classroom and late arrivals are not permitted. We ask that all visitors respectfully silence and refrain from using cell phones and/or laptops. Partners are welcome to visit a class after all prospective students have been accommodated.

Information Session

Prospective students are welcome to attend an information session conducted by an admissions staff member. During the school year, current students will also be available during this session.

Building Tour

Prospective students are invited to join us for a tour of Harper Center, where Gothic and modern architecture combine to create a dynamic community. Tours are led by students or staff members.

Lunch with Students

Prospective students will continue to engage with current students and the Chicago Booth community during a complimentary lunch.
