ABUNDANT OPPORTUNITIES TO GET CONNECTED

There are many opportunities to meet alumni. Even if they live outside of the country, senior alumni fly in to attend the Breakfast Series, where they give talks. There is an alumni golf tournament and softball game - many opportunities like that to meet them on a social level, but they also are very helpful on a professional level. They support you in securing a job and offer to open interactions through their companies. There is a lot of support coming from alumni and, in my experience, it has only grown in my time here.

FINDING A CAREER PATH AND THE STEPS TO GETTING THERE

By far, the most important value-add of Career Services is in helping you understand what you want to do in life. They presented a very structured approach to my career and, after I identified what my passion was and how I could fit into that particular niche, they helped me establish connections with companies. They invited companies to recruit on campus and facilitated additional conversations outside the school setting for me.

They also helped in shaping my CV. There are a lot of buzzwords that are important for recruiters. And, of course, before coming to business school, I didn’t know I could use them to attract the interest of employers. Now, not only does my CV utilize these buzzwords, it’s just all around very professional, very precise. They also helped me craft my story to be succinct and impactful - to make a lasting impression in 30 seconds.
