Students with Partners or Spouses
Hear from those who’ve been through the admissions process with their spouse or partner to learn what their transition to Chicago was like.
- Kate Glasser – Kate Glasser and her husband Adam moved here from Phoenix and now live in the South Loop. They only considered schools in major cities. Adam works for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide as a Manager of Real Estate, Marketing and Analysis.
- Kapil Mohan – Kapil Mohan and his wife Payal Kochar moved here from Richmond, Virginia and live downtown. Payal is one of the co-chairs of Chicago Partners and she works as an IT Project Manager at Sears.
- Jennifer Galaday – Jennifer Galaday and her husband Ted moved here from Seattle and live in Hyde Park. Jennifer is the mother of a baby boy named Griffin. She helped found a Mother’s network for Chicago Booth students.
- Damian Gumpel – Damian Gumpel and his wife Jamie moved here from Houston expecting their first child, a daughter Natalia, born in March. They live in Lincoln Park. Jamie works as a Physician Assistant in Oncology

- Carolyn Williams - Carolyn Williams moved here from Phoenix with her husband John. Carolyn works as a special educator for the UNO Charter School Network.
- Natali Egana - Natali Egana and her husband, Samuel Saenz Rozas, moved here from Argentina. They live in Hyde Park where there are many other Chicago Booth students from around the globe.
