Why did you choose to attend Chicago Booth? I chose Booth for the flexible curriculum, rigorous academic environment, great support from school administration regarding recruiting and admissions, and the infrastructure.

What do you consider a "must visit" place in Chicago? Wrigley Field, several steakhouses, blues bars across town, art museums, and architecture tours.

Ask me about...: How to move from Switzerland to Chicago, get settled, and start LEAD in five days time.

Moira Borens, Class of 2014

Moira Borensmborens@ChicagoBooth.edu

Undergraduate School/Major: I attended Kings College London and majored in Business Management.

Prior to Booth: I worked at Procter & Gamble in Geneva for five years, first in purchasing and then in marketing.

Activities: Member of Management Consulting Group, Chicago Women in Business,  Public Speaking Group, Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Group, BETA and the Wine Club.

Summer internship plans: I am recruiting for consulting.

Why did you choose to attend Chicago Booth?  I was excited about Booth's teaching approach valuing curiosity and challenges over ready-made answers. I also valued the flexibility in the curriculum: we can design our own MBA, deciding for ourselves what we believe is the best based on our career goals.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Booth so far: Intense, fun and exciting.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or a "must-do" activity in Chicago? Late night eggs after a night of dancing. Walking around Lincoln Park's pond. Stroll, dine or bar crawl in Old Town, Lincoln Park and Bucktown. Checking out Buckingham Fountain. Sitting in Millennium Park and listening to a concert on a warm evening.

Ask me about...: Anything you want to know about my experience at Booth and enjoying Chicago.
