Undergraduate School/Major: My undergrad was in economics with concentrations in industrial organization, monetary economics and public economics. I spent one semester in Ghent, Belgium as an exchange student.
Prior to Booth: My work experience is in consulting and project finance. I started working in Deloitte Consulting at their Lisbon, Portugal office mainly focused at the financial services industry. Then I moved to London and joined the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development doing project finance for the Russian market. Before coming to Chicago Booth I returned to Lisbon and joined a new pan European strategy consulting boutique.
Activities: I am currently involved with the Latin American Business Group, Private Equity and Management Consulting Groups as well as with the Soccer Club and European Business Group.
Career plans: I'm recruiting for management consulting, private equity and venture capital.
Why did you choose to attend Chicago Booth? I chose to attend Booth because of the great balance between soft and hard skills development, the flexible curriculum regarding areas and depth within each area, top tier faculty, and the collaborative and easy environment between all members of the community (students, faculty, and staff).
What do you consider a "must visit" place in Chicago? Chicago's vast cultural life (concerts happening all the time, The Art Institute of Chicago), amazing restaurants, and great neighborhood diversity (enjoyable random walk between each area).

Activities: I am currently involved with the Private Equity Group, Energy Group, Net Impact, the Dean's Student Admissions Committee (DSAC), and the Basketball Club.
Summer internship plans: I'm recruiting for private equity.
Why did you choose to attend Chicago Booth? I chose to attend Booth because of the academic rigor, great alumni and classmate networking, and strong PE program.
What do you consider a "must visit" place in Chicago? The Green Mill--best jazz in Chicago.
