Prior to Booth: I worked for the investments team at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank's private sector investment arm. Prior to IFC, I covered the financial institutions sector as an equity research associate for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in New York.
Activities: I am a co-chair of the Distressed Investing & Restructuring Group, and a member of the Dean's Student Admissions Committee (DSAC), the Investment Management Group, the Leadership & Influence Group, the Investment Banking Group and the European Business Group.
Career Plans: I'm in the midst of recruiting for full time positions.
Why did you choose to attend Booth? I was drawn to the strength of the finance program.
What do you consider a "must visit" place in Chicago? I recommend the architectural boat tour.

Undergraduate School/Major: I attended the Institute of Business Administration and majored in finance.
Prior to Booth: I was in M&A and Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking for Citigroup (Pakistan) and Samba Financial Group (Saudi Arabia).
Activities: I am a member of the Investment Banking Group, Corporate Finance Group, Corporate Management & Strategy Group, the Dean?s Student Admissions Committee (DSAC), the Soccer Club and the Milton Friedman Group.
Summer internship plans: I'm recruiting for business development (in-house M&A corporate roles).
Why did you choose to attend Booth? My school visit experience was probably the single most important reason why I chose to attend Booth. Discussions with second years, members of the staff and the overall feel did enough to convince me that Booth will prepare me best for the challenges in an environment that I will truly enjoy.
What do you consider a "must visit" place in Chicago? Get out on the lake at night and enjoy views of the city's amazing skyline.
