Why did you choose Chicago Booth? There were a plethora of reasons why I chose Booth, chief among them the inherent flexibility that it offers. I know exactly what I want out of my MBA, and Booth provides me with the opportunity to tailor my MBA according to my needs. Initially, I was torn between a few schools, but after attending Admit Weekend, I was convinced that this was the right school for me. Also, Chicago is an amazing city with so much to do. I must also mention the strong reputation that the career services team boasts! Being in an environment where one's limitations are constantly challenged is conducive to one's overall development. Lastly, the "challenge everything" approach makes classes a lot of fun and meeting such an unbelievable bunch of talented (and helpful) peers, both first years and second years, has convinced me that I made the right decision.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I chose Booth for three main reasons. First, it's the flexible curriculum at Booth. Having gone through some of the basic courses in finance, operations and economics prior to Booth, I did not want to take the basic classes in these areas that I would need at most other schools. Booth gave me the flexibility to pick and take advanced classes in these areas straight away and that has significantly helped me build on my previous knowledge and helped me explore new areas I had no exposure to before coming to Booth. Second, it's the people you meet at Booth. I met a number of Booth graduates in my firm and when I visited the campus. I was really impressed by their intellectual curiosity and friendliness. After one year at Booth, I can confidently say that my impression has not changed at all. Finally, the Career Services team at Booth. I wanted to switch careers from R&D to Business Development. As a career switcher, the guidance and support I got from the career services team at Booth was extremely important for me to best prepare myself for the new roles. After one year at Booth I can confidently say that Booth's career service team's reputation as the best among top business schools is not exaggerated at all.
