Chicago Booth Strategy Games Club

The Chicago Booth Strategy Games Club was relaunched in 2007 and is intended to provide recreational activities and promote social life on campus. The club is open to all students, partners, faculty, and staff of the University of Chicago community.

We have recently expanded beyond chess to include board games such as checkers, backgammon, Monopoly, Risk, Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, and much more.

We welcome players of all levels of strength and interest and offer training and tournaments to those interested in improving their game. Make sure to come by our regular meetings!

The Chicago Booth Strategy Games Club looks forward to actively contributing to the Hyde Park community. We plan to partner with local charitable organizations to spread the enjoyment of game playing, foster learning, and encourage academic achievement.

Email/meet one of us to find out more on how you can become an expert at your game of choice, network with like-minded members, practice strategy and game theory, and perhaps even teach someone else!
