Milton Friedman Group

The Milton Friedman Student Group seeks to foster a strong awareness among Chicago Booth students about the net benefits that individual freedoms, economic or otherwise, bring to societies. The University of Chicago has a tradition as a world leader among academic institutions in the intellectual defense of individual freedoms. The Milton Friedman Student Group therefore will be a forum for Booth students who want to be an active part of this tradition.

The Milton Friedman Student Group stems from a concern about how well business students understand the importance of individual freedoms to free markets and free societies. The supporters of this group hope to increase this understanding in an intellectually sound and fun way.
