Chicago Global Citizens

Who Are We?
Chicago Global Citizens (CGC) is a student group that utilizes the skills and resources of the Chicago Booth community to help address social and economic needs in developing countries. Our members share an interest in international development issues such as basic education, economic growth, humanitarian assistance, global health care, poverty reduction, and conflict prevention.

What Do We Do?
CGC organizes programs that make a concrete measurable impact in the developing world. Programs include consulting projects, fundraising events, and spring treks to developing countries.

How can you get involved?
The academic year promises a wide variety of opportunities for participation including:

  • Leading or participating on a project team
  • Planning and executing CGC events (International Development dinner and conference fundraising, speaker series, social events, etc.)
  • Marketing and branding CGC
  • Helping with club logistics and operations (website, membership, corporate sponsorships)
  • Traveling to and making an impact on a developing country in Africa during spring break

As your CGC co-chairs, we look forward to working with you! Please feel free to contact us with questions and to further explore the Chicago Global Citizens website for more information.
