Application Process

How to Apply

All Chicago Booth applicants use our online application system, which will be available in early August. Registration and creation of a user name and password are required to begin the online application.

Application Checklist

Applications from Early Career candidates have the same requirements as all candidates for admission. However, we make the following recommendations:

  • completed application with required personal background
  • completed essays and slide presentation
  • professional resume, including relevant internship, part-time and/or full-time work experience
  • unofficial (scanned copies) transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions from which you have or will have earned a degree; only if you are admitted will you be required to submit official transcripts. Any official transcripts received prior to an offer of admissions will not be added to your file. College seniors should not include courses in progress along with current grades
  • GMAT score (self-reported or official); GMAT scores are valid for five years
  • TOEFL or IELTS scores (international applicants only); TOEFL scores are valid for two years
  • two (three preferred for college seniors) letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor. For college seniors, at least one letter of recommendation must be from a professor
  • $200 Application Fee (may be waived for college seniors, graduate students, or early career candidates working in the nonprofit field;please email admissions@ChicagoBooth.edu for more information)
