Robert Grossman is a faculty member at the University of Chicago. He is the Chief Research Informatics Officer for the Biological Sciences Division, a Faculty Member and Senior Fellow at the Computation Institute and the Institute for Genomics and Systems Biology, and a Professor of Medicine in the Section of Genetic Medicine. His research group focuses on big data, predictive modeling, biomedical informatics, cloud computing, and related areas. He is also the Founder and a Partner of Open Data Group, which has been building predictive models over big data for companies for over ten years.
