Robert Rosenberg

Adjunct Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship

Robert Rosenberg, '97 (XP-66), is the associate vice president for communication at the University of Chicago. Previously, he supported technology development and economic outreach in the office of the Vice President for Research. Bob came to the University in 1989 as director of industrial relations and technology at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Bob was a founder of the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Midwest Research University Network. He is a director of Illinois' Technology Development Fund and a member of the Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors. He serves on the board of Project Exploration and the Chicago Manufacturing Renaissance Council, and he serves on the advisory board of Hyde Park Angels.

Bob earned a bachelor's degree (magna) in English from Harvard University, a master's degree in English literature from Tufts University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Although he joined the faculty in 2008, he has been lecturing at Chicago Booth since 2000.
