Jens Larsen is a managing director and chief European economist for RBC Capital Markets. Jens came to the RBC research team in 2010 from the Bank of England, where he was head of the macro financial analysis division. During his 10 years at the Bank of England Jens worked in a number of other roles including staff economist and private secretary to the deputy governor for monetary policy. He has also served on the executive board of the IMF as the UK alternate executive director. Jens has a PhD in economics from the University of Southampton.
