Summer Internships and Temporary Projects

Each summer, Chicago Booth first-year MBA students seek challenging internship roles around the world and across myriad industries and functions. Hosting a summer intern - whether through a formal MBA internship program or a less formal, project-based model - is an excellent way for firms to:

  • gain top-tier MBA talent for specific projects or current initiatives.
  • build a brand within the Chicago Booth community – a returning second-year student with a positive story to tell to his or her peers creates a strong employer presence.
  • have an “extended interview” for a possible full-time team member over that 10- to 12-week period.

Similarly, firms seeking part-time or temporary assistance on current initiatives or projects may seek Booth student or alumni talent for such opportunities. Whether it is assisting with due diligence for a private equity firm, building a marketing plan for a start-up, or working as a part-time consultant, project work is a great way to connect with top Chicago Booth talent.

To post a summer internship, part-time position, or temporary project, please log in to the Global Talent Solutions (GTS) system or email Career Services.
