Nina Huang, '04
President, Bamboo Ventures Limited
In 1992 Huang founded Key Food Ingredients Inc., a U.S. company providing dehydrated vegetables and spices to more than 60 countries worldwide. Later in 1995 she founded Qingdao Key Food Ingredients Co, Ltd, a Chinese manufacturer of agricultural products. The company became an industry leader with more than 500 employees. The company was acquired by Olam International in 2006, a public traded agricultural company. Huang went on to found Bamboo Ventures, LLC which is involved in international real estate, electronic vehicle, and South African wine. She graduated from the Chicago Booth Executive MBA program in 2004. She remains an active member of Chicago Booth community and has served as president and board member for Chicago Booth Los Angeles Alumni Club, program chair for Business Forecast Dinner in Los Angeles, and member of University of Chicago Board of Governor. She continues to travel frequently to Chicago, Europe, and China and has met with university alumni in both Beijing and Shanghai.
