Principal Investment Specialist, Asian Development Bank
Sherwin Pu is a principal investment specialist in the Asian Development Bank (“ADB”). He has over 18 years of experience in infrastructure investment and lending in the emerging markets in the Asia Pacific Region. Currently, he heads the bank’s infrastructure private equity business in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, and also manages ADB’s non-sovereign infrastructure asset portfolio in the same territory. He is based in ADB’s headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
Prior to joining ADB in 2003, Pu was head of energy, chemical and pharmaceutical for China in ABN AMRO. Prior to ABN AMRO, he was working in various capacities for international financial institutions.
Pu received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an undergraduate double degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China. He is married with two children.
