Paul Zaffaroni, '97

Paul Zaffaroni, '97, is a director in the consumer and business services investment banking group for ROTH Capital Partners. He has been representing clients in merger, acquisition, and corporate finance transactions since 1992 and has been involved in starting and advising entrepreneurial companies since 1999.

Zaffaroni has executed a broad range of transactions totaling more than $9 billion of transaction value. Prior to joining ROTH Capital Partners in 2007, he worked as an investment banker for CIBC World Markets, Merrill Lynch, and Piper Jaffray. Zaffaroni was also a co-founder of Triene, a financial software and information enterprise funded by Goldman Sachs and Reuters.

Zaffaroni received an MBA from Chicago Booth, with concentrations in finance and accounting, and he graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics. He is a member of the executive board of directors of the California Fashion Association.
