Michael Ceballos, '07

Executive Director, Complex Care Product Team, UnitedHealthcare Community & State

Michael Ceballos is a product leader within UnitedHealth Group’s Medicaid business (UnitedHealthcare Community & State), providing general management expertise and capabilities deployment and development to health plans that serve members with complex health needs. Prior to joining Community & State, Michael performed strategic initiatives for one of United’s executive vice presidents, specifically on international development and health care reform. He started his career at United as an internal consultant working on special projects. 

Prior to UnitedHealth Group, the bulk of Ceballos’ experience focused on the general management of cross-functional heavy-civil construction projects, with a short stint teaching pre-algebra on the Salt River Pima Indian Reservation. 

Ceballos has a master's of business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was awarded the Dean’s Award of Distinction, and both a bachelor's of science and master's of science from Stanford University. 

Michael lives in southwest Minneapolis with his wife and son. He serves as treasurer of the People’s Center Health Services, a downtown Minneapolis Federally Qualified Health Center and is a former Humphrey Policy Fellow at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. He enjoys the outdoors, playing and watching sports, and live music.
