Mario J. Sacasa

Senior Vice President, International Economic Development Programs, The Beacon Council

Mario J. Sacasa is senior vice president of international economic development programs for The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s official public-private economic development partnership. Since 1997, Sacasa has led the reorganization of the council’s International Department, substantially increasing its productivity in terms of completed job-generating business projects.

Sacasa graduated from the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in international economic affairs, and from Georgetown’s graduate school with an master's degree in Latin American studies and development banking.
