Associate Dean for Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs, Chicago Booth

George Andrews is associate dean for the Evening MBA and the Weekend MBA Programs at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a member of the school’s senior staff. The two programs that Andrews oversees have about 1,400 students and represent more than half of the total enrollment at Chicago Booth. His responsibilities include overseeing the recruiting efforts of the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs, managing the daily operations of the programs as the dean of student life, and teaching a workshop on Holding Difficult Conversations.

Before joining Chicago Booth in 2007, Andrews worked at the William E. Simon School of business as executive director of the executive MBA program. He started his career at Procter & Gamble as a section manager and over the next 16 years held increasingly more senior roles at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Bausch & Lomb where, as a senior product manager, he launched Vision Shaping Technology (VST), the first ever FDA approved lens for shaping the cornea during sleep, and conducted the entry of Bausch & Lomb into the private label solution business.
