Ella Gorgla is the founder and CEO of I-ELLA.com, an innovative, fashion-forward, charitable online marketplace where stylish members can buy, sell, borrow and swap the latest must-have fashion apparel, accessories and more. I-ELLA.com was named one of the ‘Top 10 NYC Startups to Watch’ by Time Inc. along with features on The Today Show, InStyle Magazine, WSJ and others. Ms. Gorgla was named Inc. Magazine’s ‘11 Leaders to watch in 2011’ alongside Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook and Justin Timberlake.
Prior to launching I-ELLA.com, Ms. Gorgla spent over a decade helping leading global institutions including Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, IBM, and others to achieve mission critical goals related Business & Growth Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital. She combined innovative thinking with practical problem solving techniques to deliver sustainable solutions for clients.
Ms. Gorgla also worked to bring sustainable investments to West Africa with a particular focus on Liberia and Ghana. Ella has offered commentary on CNBC related to investing in Africa.
Ms. Gorgla grew up in Toledo, Ohio and is a native of Monrovia, Liberia. She has a bachelor’s of science in engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
