Amos Gilkey

Founder, CleanWave Group

Gilkey founded CleanWave Group to create a global business catalyst for unique, visionary, and entrepreneurial companies and projects providing positive solutions for society and the environment. He has an entrepreneurial approach and a global perspective.

Gilkey is a signatory to public letters and ad campaigns from US business leaders in support of strong environmental and industrial efficiency policies. He is a judge and mentor of ventures for US-based foundations and was the founder and co-chair of the Central Virginia Chapter of the Clean Economy Network (CEN). Gilkey is on the Business Advisory Council to the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute in California. He is a member of the University of Chicago Booth Entrepreneurial Advisory Group in Washington DC; alumni member of the Western literary student association UNICA in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and a steering committee member for the Washington DC chapter of the Netherland-America Foundation (NAF).

Gilkey is the cofounder of an innovative crowd-funding venture and of concept projects in the arts and entertainment industry. He is fluent in Dutch and English, a passionate local farmer, and a musician and recording artist. He graduated with an advanced bachelor's degree from Occidental College in California.
