Boston - Apr 12, 2016

"Investing in Biotechnology Entrepreneurship"

Biotechnology research and development employs more than 1.3 million Americans and contributes approximately two percent to the US GDP. Venture capital investment in the industry grew 17 percent in 2015. In Q4 alone, $1.5 billion funded 95 deals.

Please join us on April 12, 2016 for the Chicago Conversations event, where we will examine the shifting funding landscape in the biotech industry from the perspective of leading experts. This event will bring together industry leaders from traditional venture capital firms and bioentrepreneurs in the space to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the funding landscape and what lies ahead for bioentrepreneurs.

Chicago Conversations is a showcase for Chicago-style thinking. For the eighth consecutive year, insightful discussions take the stage at venues around the globe. In 2016, we are shining a spotlight on issues of relevance in entrepreneurship and marketing.
