Health-Care Innovation

San Francisco - Mar 22, 2012

From disruptive technology in patient care and scheduling to continued expansion of bio-tech research, the healthcare industry continues to transform and innovate. With the concentration of large patents expiring over the next several years, firms are increasingly investing in large molecule biologics which are more challenging to replicate and have meaningful treatment implications. In addition, firms are finding creative ways to sort through the immediate and long term impacts of legislative reform which have affected drug discount rates and insurance policies. Consumers are also experiencing the benefits of radical system innovations which improve response rates and help decrease costs for the firms. What have been the most impactful innovations in the industry and what can we anticipate in the future?

Join a discussion with Chicago Booth alumni and healthcare professionals in San Francisco who will share their expertise and perspective on the current conditions as well as their views on the future.
