Bloomberg Businessweek ranked Chicago Booth the top-ranked full-time MBA program in its biennial rankings. This is the fourth consecutive time Booth has been ranked number one.
Businessweek compares schools on how they serve two main constituencies: students and recruiters. Businessweek asks students to complete a survey on teaching, career services and student life. They then average the past three surveys together. Businessweek then adds in similar data from recruiters, asking about their familiarity with schools and the quality of the schools' graduates.
The Economist also recently ranked Booth number one. US News' 2013 survey places Booth fourth. Other surveys place the school as low as twelfth, in the Financial Times 2011 ranking.
The other schools in Businessweek's top five include the Harvard Business School, the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Stanford's Graduate School of Business, and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
