George Andrews

Associate Dean, Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs, Chicago Booth

George Andrews is associate dean for the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a member of the school’s senior staff. The two programs Andrews administers represent nearly 1,400 students, more than half the total enrollment at Chicago Booth. His responsibilities include overseeing the recruiting efforts for the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs, managing the daily operations of the programs as the dean of student life, and teaching workshops for the Booth leadership programs. 

Before joining Chicago Booth in 2007, Andrews worked at the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon School of Business as executive director of the Executive MBA program. He started his career at Procter & Gamble as a section manager, and held increasingly more senior roles at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Bausch & Lomb where, as a senior product manager, he launched Vision Shaping Technology (VST), the first ever FDA-approved lens for overnight vision correction, and the first-ever private label contact solution for Bausch & Lomb.
