Deanie Elsner, '92

Executive Vice President and President of Beverages for Kraft Foods North America

In her current position, which she assumed in 2010, Elsner oversees the manufacturing, marketing, and sales of iconic Kraft brands, including Gevalia and Maxwell House coffee, Capri Sun, Country Time, Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, and Tang beverages.

Elsner joined Kraft Foods in 1992 as an assistant brand manager for the Viscous Category in Glenview, Illinois. Before rising to her current role as executive vice president and president of Beverages for Kraft, she spent more than 20 years serving in a variety of leadership roles in the company, including marketing and brand management. As manager of Kraft Foods’ European coffee business, Elsner was instrumental in turning around Kraft's coffee business in Europe and in establishing a clear roadmap to success for the coffee category.

Prior to joining Kraft Foods, Deanie worked in sales for Procter and Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.

She received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and entrepreneurial studies from the University of Arizona and an MBA with concentrations in marketing management and finance from Chicago Booth.
