Coronavirus Updates

With over 45 student groups exclusive to the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs at Chicago Booth, there was no shortage of activities this summer. Now that the season is coming to a close, let’s take a look at just a few of them….

Fun Run
Associate Dean Glenn Sykes laced up and hit the pavement around Chicago with our Booth Running Club! The Running Club hosts speakers, coordinates group runs, and participates in races throughout Chicago year-round.

Graduation Celebration
(times two!)
Summer kicked off with celebrating our Spring 2018 grads and ends with our Summer 2018 celebration. In addition to walking with all Booth grads every June, we host a formal celebration for our quarterly graduates!

Hiking Trip
Taking a break from the city chaos, the Booth Outdoors Club explored one of Chicagoland’s many forest preserves. The scenery speaks for itself! It was a great chance to unplug and hit the reset button.

Families at the Booth Annual Family Picnic

Booth Annual Family Picnic
Families are a big part of our community, and hundreds came out to this year’s annual picnic at Lincoln Park Zoo.

Cycling For Charity
Boothies worked up a sweat and raised money for the annual MBA Cup, which benefits the Big Shoulders Fund. The MBA Cup includes intramural teams from Chicago Booth, Kellogg, DePaul, and Loyola part-time MBA programs.

The Booth Technology Club on a tech trek

Tech Trek
20 Booth students traveled to Seattle, San Francisco, and Austin to tour some major tech-forward company headquarters. The Chicago Booth Technology Club provides students with a forum to further understand technology and serves as a base for those seeking employment or who are already employed within a technology-based role.

Booth Consulting Club Symposium
50 consultants from 14 firms spent the day sharing best practices and insights with our Evening-Weekend students. The Booth Consulting Club connects firms with highly talented students interested in consulting careers.

We love how vibrant and diverse out student groups are, ranging from social to professional interests. And yes, our student groups are exclusive to the Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs, meaning they make time to hang out based on everyone’s working schedules. With most events being held in the evenings and on Saturdays, there’s always something for everyone. Learn more about our student life here.
