Rigal is a London-based managing director and the deputy chief operating officer of Deutsche Bank's Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). CIB has more than 15,000 employees in 57 countries. He is responsible for a wide range of operations with a particular emphasis on people management.
Rigal joined Deutsche Bank in 1995 as managing director in equity capital markets focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. He advised on many notable deals including the IPO's of Infonet in 1999 and Mobile Telesystems, Russia's leading mobile company, in 2000. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he worked in Equity Capital Markets at S.G. Warburg, and was a management consultant with Oliver, Wyman, and Company in New York.
He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business and a bachelor of commerce from the University of Alberta. Rigal is the co-chair of Booth’s EMEA Advisory Board and is a member of the Advisory Board of Facing History and Ourselves in the UK.
