Alumni Affairs Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni Clubs

Alumni clubs need volunteers to work on boards and committees or assist in the organization of a single event. You can volunteer for community service projects, serve as a speaker for a club event, or help build the club’s web page.

Roundtables

Roundtables present a unique opportunity to interact with fellow alumni in your area of expertise. By hosting a roundtable discussion, arranging for a special speaker, or giving a presentation, you will gain access to new ideas and explore solutions to your business needs.

We look to alumni to nominate outstanding achievers for the annual Distinguished Alumnus awards. The awards recognize outstanding Chicago Booth alumni who have excelled as leaders in their profession and community. Winners are chosen by an alumni committee.

Reunion Committees

A dedicated Reunion Committee is the best way to ensure your class is excited and involved in the Reunion Program. Volunteering for the Reunion Volunteer Committee is a meaningful, manageable, and high impact volunteer opportunity. All volunteer roles have the full support of the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development. We will be celebrating the Classes of 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2010 as they celebrate their Reunions on October 14-15, 2011. Please email reunions@chicagobooth.edu if you're interested in volunteering on your Reunion Committee. We will be celebrating the Class of 1986's 25th Reunion in conjunction with the University's Alumni Weekend, June 2-5, 2011.

Alumni and Student Engagement Opportunities

Alumni have the opportunity to engage with current students by offering their knowledge and experience at unique events and programming. Volunteer to be a speaker, host an intimate breakfast as part of the Alumni Breakfast Series, or be interviewed for a newspaper article.  Participation not only provides an opportunity to build the Chicago Booth community, but creates a valuable exchange between students and alumni. If you are interested in participating in future student-alumni initiatives, please indicate your interest by completing this brief Alumni and Student Engagement Opportunities Survey.
