Ken Nordine '97 Event DetailsEdward Don and Company has a sales force that is over 350 strong and they are an industry leader in utilization of technology. From a sales force automation perspective, the company has focused on freeing up the reps time. Faced with this challenge they found that the antiquated dial up method of sending orders from their laptops was cumbersome and time consuming. Edward Don undertook a project to allow the sales force to be wireless at all times. Through their partnerships with Dell and Verizon, Edward Don was able to provide laptops with both Centrino Wi-Fi and Wireless Broadband embedded. This technology enabled the sales reps to operate with the same tools and speed as if they were in the office. This technology also allowed the IT department to better service the end users from a helpdesk standpoint and protect their laptop computers. Learn how you can bring this kind of technology to your sales organization. Speaker Profiles
