Our panelists will discuss developments in options trading by retail traders, new options securities (such as the Fixed Return Option (FRO) and hedgelets) as well as novel trading tools that give retail traders the power to place sophisticated options trades. They will shed light on emerging trends in options trading as well as options trading strategies that utilize these new options securities and new options trading tools.

Don Montanaro
Chief Executive Officer, TradeKing

Donato A. Montanaro, Jr., TradeKing's founder and CEO, has been recognized for contributions in electronic brokerage since he entered the industry in 1992. TradeKing is an online discount broker/dealer that specializes in options trading. Don was the founder and President of SureTrade, Inc., a subsidiary of Quick & Reilly. Under his leadership, SureTrade became the 8th largest online brokerage firm in the world. Don also conceived an innovative option product, the Fixed Return Option (FRO), due to be introduced as a product of The American Stock Exchange in 2006. Don served as a special consultant to the exchange from 2002 until April of 2005. Don has a BA from The University of Notre Dame, and a JD from The Catholic University of America's school of law.

David Bukey
Associate Editor, Active Trader Magazine

David Bukey is Associate Editor of Active Trader, Currency Trader, and Options Trader magazines, where he focuses on trading strategies. David previously worked in investment banking, and has a background in market research. He has a Master's in Social Science from the University of Chicago.

Jim Bittman
Senior Staff Instructor, Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) Options Institute Faculty

Mr. Bittman is the author of two books, Options for the Stock Investor, (McGraw-Hill, 1996), and Trading Index Options (McGraw-Hill, 1998). He teaches courses for public and institutional investors, and he has presented several courses throughout the U.S., Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. In 1980, Mr. Bittman began his trading career as an equity options market maker at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. From 1983 to 1993, he was a Commodity Options Member of the Chicago Board of Trade where he traded options on financial futures and agricultural futures. Mr. Bittman received a BA, magna cum laude, from Amherst College in 1972 and an MBA from Harvard University in 1974. In addition to his responsibilities at The Options Institute, Mr. Bittman is also a member of the faculty of The Illinois Institute of Technology, where he teaches in the master's level Financial Markets and Trading Program.
