FOCUS: Health care, one of the BIG issues on every business person’s mind this year, is the focus for this month’s GSB Finance Roundtable. So as to leave PLENTY OF TIME for QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE, this HIGHLY INTERACTIVE event will center in on just three areas of health care, namely:

  1. HEALTH CARE AS AN INVESTMENT: an OVERVIEW of the KEY TRENDS IMPACTING THE HEALTH CARE SECTOR & STOCK PERFORMANCE: demographics, regulations, technology, & government policy issues related to ensuing developments in companies and their stocks plus LIKELY IMPACTS TO INVESTORS OF ABOVE KEY TRENDS.
  2. HEALTH CARE FINANCING: the rising cost of MEDICAL MALPRACTICE has some startling repercussions that are affecting everyone from health care providers to the risk that it presents to the financiers so…
    • What are the different alternatives to manage the risks MEDICAL MALPRACTICE poses?
    • Where are the growth areas and emerging trends in healthcare financing?
  3. HEALTH CARE INSURANCE : in the absence of a government sponsored national health care solution,
    • What are the avenues that employers have to CONTROL HEALTH CARE COSTS?
    • Where should the focus of health care insurance be? And why?
    • CONSUMER DIRECTED HEALTH CARE: is it the “silver bullet” capable of slaying rising costs?
