They will discuss in practical terms how you as an individual can (1) locate a business to buy, (2) work with a business broker and (3) "closing" the deal. He also served two terms as MBBI President. George's firm, Kensington Services, focuses on medium-sized businesses. Tom Whipple Tom Whipple is the President-elect of MBBI, the premier association of professionals involved in mergers and acquisitions in the Midwest. Working with the Hoganson Venture Group, Tom has established a reputation for getting deals done, large and small. George Stevenson and Cliff Deremo George Stevenson and Cliff Deremo are principals of Stevenson & Company, which specializes on handling larger deals. George is also a former MBBI President.
