Most entrepreneurs find the world of business insurance bewildering. What types of insurance should I have for my business? Do I have too much or too little? What should I be looking for? Howard Goldstein will explain the basics of insurance:
* how the business of insurance works,
* the types of insurance coverage a new company typically needs, and
* what additional insurance it may need once fully operational.
An adjunct Marketing professor at Loyola University's Graduate School of Business,
Howard also established the insurance program and currently teaches insurance
at DePaul University.
He founded The Glen Ellyn Consulting Group in 2001 after working over 30 years in various executive positions in the insurance business at Zurich Financial and CIGNA, and helping launch a successful Internet start-up. At The Glen Ellyn Consulting Group, he works extensively with Property and Casualty Insurance companies and non-insurance clients, providing marketing research services, marketing strategy development, new product development and target marketing support.
Howard is not an insurance agent and therefore cannot sell insurance, recommend any specific companies nor help you design an insurance program for your specific needs. He can and will give us insights into how the business of insurance works and the types of coverage you should consider.
