Valuing a Private Business

Evaluating the financial statements, tax returns and bookkeeping records of privately-held companies requires insight, intuition and investigation. Even more perplexing is determining the value of a business and how you, as a potential buyer, can unlock its "hidden value". The panel will feature financial analysts who routinely evaluate privately-held companies and experts in assessing the real value of a business for a buyer.

The Panel will feature:
Joe McCaul of Joseph Associates International is a business broker who helps individual buyers to locate, value and purchase privately-held businesses. John Lafferty of Lafferty Financial Management assists individual buyers of businesses in reviewing the financial records of privately-held companies and in developing financial projections used in valuing them.
