Emil Koulov, '09 is a creative thinker and a strategy empowering professional with a versatile work experience, and a top-school business education. Ever since the beginning of his career, Emil has worked with the C-suite and officers of responsibility to assist them do their work much better. Most recently, he has been consulting on strategic operational projects and empowering a few [entrepreneurial] ventures, to enable the connections for possible business undertakings and other unexplored opportunities. From his work with senior executives, Emil has firmed up his skills to nimbly navigate through the marketplace, via specific steps, while accomplishing the mission at hand. One of his greatest strengths, when in an entrepreneurial or advisory capacity, is his rich multi-functional experience, allowing him to look with a piecing eye at the outstanding issues and see and deliver the solutions objectively and with ease. Because he has not been attached to a single industry, but has worked in several, he offers constructive, unbiased suggestions and outlines viable and creative plans of action. Although not inclusive, he has experience advising progressive post-startup ventures, positioning consumer brands on the market place, operational management in big-box retail, placing custom captive programs with national association members for the management of risk exposures, and designing and implementing ERP (Oracle) solutions for improving the decision-making and analytics of clients.

Enrique Posse, '09 started his career in the IT side of the insurance industry, probably one of the safest career choices, and since he has moved into riskier but also more satisfactory roles in small caps M&A, corporate training, advisory roles in real-estate, automotive, metals manufacturing, transportation and early stage firms in various product, process and business development capacities, and most recently in healthcare analytics. As a participant of the Chicago New Venture Challenge he realized one thing was the idea of entrepreneurship and another, the practice of building a firm. His intention as a chair of the Entrepreneurial Roundtable is to bridge that gap for those alike himself not quite at the point of jumping off into a new venture, for profit or not.
