Most companies don't know the details of their customer relationships. They may not even know the identities of their customers at an individual level. They tend to lose track of consumer interactions and transactions over time and across channels. Even when equipped with creative marketing segmentation strategies, companies may lack the requisite data capture, integration, analytics and management capabilities to act on customer behavior by narrowly-defined segments. The good news is that a host of new processes, analytic capabilities and next-generation technologies — embodied in an emerging concept known as "CustomerHD" — can effectively address these issues. CustomerHD can restore a company's ability to understand and connect with end-customers in "High Definition", catapulting the marketing organization to ever-higher levels of success.
