Event Description:

Shareholder Value has been a management mantra for the past two decades, with a track record of delivering both impressive successes and disappointing failures. For the next install of our Value Creation series, CharterMast Partners LLC cuts through the "shareholder value" myths to explain what works, what doesn't, and what firms need to know to reliably create sustainable value for their shareholders.

CharterMast Partners LLC helps senior executives and boards maximize the sustainable value of their firms. Based on decades of empirical research by one of the nation’s top-ranked independent investment research firms, CharterMast provides actionable solutions to questions such as:

* How much value is our management team really creating? How do we reflect value creation in our incentive compensation plan?

* How much can we afford to pay for this acquisition? (Or, what results do we need to get to make it a good deal?)

* How well must we perform to meet our shareholders’ expectations? What goals should we set and how do we measure progress?

* Which business units are creating value? What kinds of investments increase value? What kinds of investments destroy value?

* How do I assess value creation for a business unit or privately-held firm? Can I create a “phantom” stock price for these entities?
