Event Details
How do some companies enjoy high performance information technology (IT) organizations, while most IT organizations have their strategic contribution questioned? Accenture's High Performance research illustrates leading firms (top 40%) with superior earnings growth spent 10% less on IT than laggard firms (bottom 40%), while the leaders were able to deliver 10% more than laggards in new IT productivity benefits. How can High Performers do more with less?

This session will share the characteristics of high performance IT and how one can transform one's organization into one with distinguished delivery capabilities. Bill McGrath will introduce the Accelerated Process Improvement Framework that Accenture has developed and used successfully at numerous organizations to help speed up process improvement and maturity by up to 50 percent faster than the industry average. For example, the industry standard time to move from Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 1 to CMMI Level 2 and from CMMI Level 2 to CMMI Level 3 is 20-32 months. By leveraging Accenture's proven methods, processes and tools already assessed at CMMI Levels 2 and 3, organizations can save approximately 50 percent of their process improvement lifecycle efforts. This helps organizations realize more business value sooner from their IT investments.
